No Border Sled Dog Race

The first day of "No Borders" sled dog race in Kranjska Gora is over. This was the first race in the history of sled dog that crossed international border.

There were about 40 contestants in different categories:

• sprint 4 dog (8 Km)
• sprint 6 dog (12 Km)
• sprint 8 dog (16 Km).
• male and female skijoring 1 (12 km)

Unfortunately there were no sprint unlimited participants.

The competition continues tomorrow at 9:00 on the same track. Next week there will be European Sled Dog Sprint Championship on the same track, but with different start postion.
