Long sight

Today the visibility was again brilliant, if not perfect. Western Alps were almost floating above the Adriatic sea. Snowy ridges were raising above rough sea in the gulf of Trieste as Bora was blowing about 4-5 bf. The most significant peak was Mount Agner (Monte Agner) in the massif Pale di San Martino, raising 2872 m.a.s.l. The distance from my standpoint at sea level a bit north of Novigrad, Istria was ~ 168 kilometers. In the opposite direction church at Rovinj was clearly visible at a distance od 30 kilometers.
